GREENVILLE COUNTY, SC – One person was killed and two were injured in a head-on collision on Belvue Road on Tuesday evening, WSPA reports.
According to officials, the incident happened around 5pm on Belvue Road near US 25 on Tuesday, January 25.
The crash occurred when a vehicle crossed the center line and struck another vehicle traveling the opposite direction.
The driver of the vehicle that was struck, Claude Earl Jones, Jr., 55, died from their injuries at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the vehicle that crossed the center line were taken to an area hospital with injuries of unknown severity.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
