BERKELEY COUNTY, SC – One person was killed in a four-vehicle car accident on I-26 on Monday night, WCIV reports.
The crash happened around 7:20pm in the westbound lanes of I-26, near mile marker 205, on Monday, January 24.
The incident happened when a pickup truck rear-ended a vehicle that was stopped behind two other vehicles, sending the vehicle that was struck into the two others.
The driver of the vehicle that was rear-ended first died from their injuries.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
