LORIS, SC – One person is dead after he was struck by a vehicle while operating a motorized wheelchair, WMBF reports.
The incident occurred on Saturday evening near 209 N Highway 701.
The person in the wheelchair was identified as Kenneth Hatsell, 53, of Loris. He was pronounced dead around 6:40pm from his injuries.
