RICHLAND COUNTY, SC – A driver who was ejected from their car was subsequently hit by a driver who fled the scene, WLTX reports.
The accident happened on I-20 around 1:40am Saturday, November 6, near mile marker 75.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the victim was ejected onto the highway following a single-vehicle accident. They were then hit by another car which fled the scene.
It is unclear which collision resulted in the victim’s death.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
