ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC – According to WACH, one person died in a two-vehicle crash on SC 389 Wednesday morning.
A Honda Accord driver was heading north on SC 389 when they crashed head-on into a southbound Chevrolet pickup truck around 5:55 a.m.
The collision propelled the pickup truck off the road and into a utility pole.
Rescue crews pronounced the Honda driver dead at the scene of the accident and transported the Honda’s passenger, as well as the driver and passenger of the pickup truck, to an area hospital.
