DORCHESTER COUNTY, SC – According to WCSC, troopers are investigating a fatal single-vehicle collision on US 17 ALT near Hawk Ln that happened on Saturday.
A Nissan Maxima driver was on northbound US 17 ALT when they strayed off the road and collided with a tree around 1:05 a.m.
Emergency responders pronounced the driver dead at the scene of the accident.
Officials have not released the name of the driver.
