RICHLAND COUNTY, SC – A passenger died in a single-vehicle wreck near Kennerly Rd and Lum Rd Saturday, according to The State.
The driver of a BMW four-door car was on southbound Kennerly Rd when it strayed off the roadway before colliding with multiple trees and flipping over near the intersection with Lum Rd around 9:20 p.m.
First responders transported the driver and passenger to an area hospital. The passenger was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Authorities have not released the names of the victims.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
