WALTERBORO, SC – According to WCBD, a person was hurt in a two-vehicle collision at N Jeffries Blvd and Bells Hwy Sunday.
A person driving an SUV collided with a man riding a moped around 9:15 p.m. The collision ejected the rider from the moped into concrete and a metal pole.
Emergency crews transported the moped rider to an area hospital with severe injuries to his head and body. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
Officials have not released the names of those involved in the incident.
