SUMTER COUNTY, SC – One person was killed and three others were injured when their ATV was struck by a vehicle on Jan. 19, The State reports.
According to officials, the crash happened around 7:30pm in the southbound lanes of US 15 near the intersection with Geddings Road on Wednesday, January 19.
The crash happened when an ATV carrying four people was struck by a car, killing one and injuring three. It is unknown if the driver of the car was injured.
The victim who died was identified as Kaylee Geddings, 23. Her twin sister was one of the three others who were injured in the crash.
The crash is being investigated by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
