JOHNS ISLAND, SC – One person was killed and eight people were injured after a crash on Johns Island on Saturday evening, The Charleston Press reports.
The incident, which involved three vehicles, occurred around 6:40 pm near the intersection of Maybank Highway and Bohicket Road.
Police say a GMC crossed the center line and collided with two other vehicles.
The driver of the GMC has been charged with a DUI. This incident remains under investigation by local authorities.
