FLORENCE, SC – One person is dead after a four-vehicle crash in Florence County on Wednesday morning, WMBF reports.
The incident happened around 4:20am on Interstate 95 near mile marker 167 on Wednesday, December 22.
According to officials, the accident happened when a car that was stopped on the highway was rear-ended by three other vehicles.
The driver of the stopped car was killed. The drivers of the other vehicles were taken to an area hospital with injuries of unknown severity.
