RICHLAND COUNTY, SC – According to WLTX, two people died when a Tesla driver crashed into a tree on Salem Church Rd Sunday.
The driver was on westbound Salem Church Rd when they strayed off the road and slammed into a tree around 2:10 a.m.
Rescue crews pronounced the driver and their front seat passenger dead at the scene of the accident.
Officials have not released the names of the victims.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
