MONTICELLO, SC – According to WLTX, troopers are investigating a deadly semi-truck crash that happened on SC 215 a quarter mile south of Monticello Friday.
A person was driving a 2010 Peterbilt semi-truck south on SC 215 when they strayed off the road, slammed into a sign and a ditch, and then overturned.
Rescue crews pronounced the driver and their passenger dead at the scene.
Officials have not released the victims’ names.
