JAMES ISLAND, SC – According to WCBD, two hit-and-run drivers fatally collided with a pedestrian at Sol Legare Rd and Crozet Dr Tuesday.
A driver hit Alexander Jennings, 22, as he was walking on Sol Legare Rd near Crozet Dr at around 2:30 a.m. before fleeing the area. A second driver ran over Jennings and also fled the scene following the collision.
Officers located the second driver in downtown Charleston.
Authorities urge anyone with information concerning the incident to contact them immediately.
