LEXINGTON CO., SC – A man was fatally struck after getting out of his disabled vehicle on I-20 on Tuesday night.
According to a report by Cola Daily, Solomon Emmanuel Gilmore, 24, exited his vehicle and began walking on the interstate near Exit 39 when he was hit by an oncoming vehicle.
Gilmore was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver involved was unhurt.
Investigators are working to establish an official cause of the deadly crash at this time. Should more information come to light, this blog will be updated.
