ANDERSON CO., SC – A motorcyclist died early Monday morning after he was involved in a major crash late Sunday night.
According to a report by WSPA, the fatal crash occurred at about 9 p.m. as 27-year-old Robert Frank Sopolosky was riding his motorcycle north on US-29.
Investigators say the driver of a Chevrolet pickup truck was attempting to turn onto the freeway from Welcome road when Sopolosky’s motorcycle slammed into the side of the truck.
Sopolosky was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries at about 1:15 a.m. on September 27th.
