ORANGEBURG, SC – One person was killed following a three-vehicle collision in Orangeburg yesterday.
According to WLTX, the collision took place as a Mercedes-Benz SUV was heading north on Highway 321 and crossed into the oncoming lanes for unknown reasons.
The Mercedes-Benz collided with an oncoming vehicle, causing it to veer off the roadway and down an embankment. A third vehicle then became involved in the crash.
The driver in the second vehicle died at the scene. Their passenger was rushed to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.
No other injuries were reported as an immediate result of the crash.
