LORIS, SC – A man was killed early this morning in a collision involving a bicycle in south Loris.

According to WBTW, the crash occurred at about 5:40 a.m. at the intersection of Red Bluff Road and Silver Sand Drive.

A 39-year-old man, whose identity is being withheld at this time, was rushed to a local hospital with serious injuries. He was pronounced dead a short time later.

The circumstances surrounding the crash are unclear at this time.
