BERKELEY CO., IA – An elderly man died on Tuesday after his vehicle collided with an 18-wheeler in Berkeley County on Tuesday.
According to a report by WCIV, the crash occurred along US-176, near the intersection with Lebanon Road.
Police say 74-year-old James Johnson’s sedan crossed the center line and slammed head-on into the tractor-trailer.
Johnson suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The truck driver was taken to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.
