MT. PLEASANT, SC – At least one lane was shut down on US-17 following a collision northeast of Mt. Pleasant this afternoon.
According to the Mount Pleasant PD., the crash occurred shortly before 5 p.m. near the intersection with Coakley Road.
Officers are clearing up a collision at 17 near Coakley Road that had one lane blocked in each direction. Traffic is heavy on both directions. #chstrfc ^dc

The cause of the crash is unclear at this time. However, at least one lane was blocked in both directions while emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
