HAMPTON COUNTY, SC – A deputy and a child were injured when an alleged impaired driver slammed into the back of a deputy’s vehicle on US 321 near Secession Road Saturday, according to WLTX.
Rahcheem Albright, 41, is accused of being intoxicated when he rammed into the rear of Deputy Mike Davis Jr.’s police vehicle around 4:20 p.m. as the deputy was conducting a traffic stop.
Rescue crews transported Deputy Davis and an 8-year-old child from Albright’s vehicle to an area hospital.
Authorities charged Albright with child endangerment, DUI, and driving under suspension.
