HORRY COUNTY, SC – According to WBTW, a person died in a three-vehicle collision on SC 19 near Mincey Dr Tuesday.
A Ford pickup truck driver was heading north on SC 19 when they collided with a northbound Hyundai sedan driver around 5:55 p.m. A southbound Ford sedan driver then hit the Hyundai.
Rescue crews pronounced the Hyundai driver dead at the scene of the accident and transported the Ford sedan driver to an area hospital. The pickup truck driver was not hurt in the collision.
The incident is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
