SUMTER COUNTY, SC – According to WLTX, authorities have disclosed additional details concerning a fatal hit-and-run collision on US 15 near Seddon Dr on July 14.
The driver of a light-colored 1999-2002 Chevrolet Silverado was heading north on US 15 when they hit a moped ridden by Wendell Parker, 55, around 9:30 p.m.
First responders pronounced Parker dead at the scene.
Authorities urge anyone with information concerning the collision to contact them.
