MOUNT PLEASANT, SC – A driver fatally collided with a bicyclist on Hwy 17 between Old Course Ln and Carolina Park Blvd Saturday, according to WCBD.
The driver hit David W. Dingle, 71, around 9:30 p.m. It is unclear if Dingle died at the scene of the accident or at an area hospital.
The incident is under investigation by the Mount Pleasant Police Department’s Traffic Bureau.
