COLUMBIA, SC – According to WIS, two women were killed in a single-vehicle wreck at 811 Mallet Hill Rd on July 17.
An RCSD deputy spotted a reported stolen car driven by Jaquice Williams, 18, and attempted to pull him over. Williams refused to pull over and sped off.
Williams crashed near 811 Mallet Hill Rd. The car caught on fire and Williams’ two passengers, Makiya Alford, 21, and Keyona Bryant Williams, 19, died in the wreck.
Crews transported Williams to an area hospital for his injuries.
Authorities charged Williams with possession of a stolen vehicle, two counts of reckless homicide, and two counts of failure to stop for blue lights resulting in death.
Williams was booked in a detention center on August 4.
