NORTH CHARLESTON, SC – A female deputy was involved in a fatal collision on the 8200 block of Rivers Ave Tuesday.
According to Live 5 News, LeRhonda Bomar, 30, was driving in her personal vehicle when she and another car collided at around 6:49 p.m.
First responders pronounced Bomar dead at the scene of the accident and transported the other driver to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident is under investigation by the traffic unit of the North Charleston Police Department.
