FLORENCE CO., SC – Rescue divers with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources recovered the body of a driver who crashed into the Pee Dee River last month.
According to WBTW, 43-year-old Stanley O’Neal Pickett crashed off of Highway 378 and into the river on September 24th.
Pickett’s body was recovered by divers on Sunday, downstream from the crash site.
The cause of the crash remains unclear at this time.
