CHARLESTON, SC – The driver responsible for a fatal hit-and-run crash in North Charleston on Monday morning is facing a number of criminal charges, WCSC reports.
The crash occurred shortly before 4:30 a.m. along I-26.
The circumstances leading up to the crash are unclear at this time. However, one person suffered fatal injuries as a result.
The driver who fled the scene, 26-year-old Xavier Rosado, was subsequently arrested and booked into the Al Cannon Detention Center. He is currently facing charges of leaving the scene of a collision involving death and leaving the scene of a collision involving great bodily harm.
