KERSHAW COUNTY, SC – A driver died after they slammed into a tree on I-20 EB near US 601 Saturday,
According to The Sun News, Steven Kyle Johnson, 31, rear-ended another vehicle around 12 a.m. The collision sent Johnson off the right side of the road and into a tree before coming to stop near a rest area. Johnson died in the crash.
First responders transported the driver of the car that was rear-ended to an area hospital in unknown condition.
