RIDGEWAY, SC -A driver died after he struck two semi-trucks on I-77 near Peach Rd Thursday, according to WLTX.
Charles Wayne Hartley, 54, was driving a Chevrolet pickup truck when he made a lane change in front of two semi-trucks and collided with them at around 3:30 a.m.
Following the collision, Hartley’s vehicle and one of the semi-trucks caught on fire.
One of the semi-trucks involved in the collision was hauling ammonium sulfide. Hazmat crews closed down the area to clear the substance.
