BOWMAN, SC – According to Live 5 News, a man died following a wrong-way collision on US Hwy 178 near Holstein Rd Saturday morning.
The driver of a Toyota Corolla was on westbound US Hwy 78 when he strayed into the eastbound lanes and collided with a Chevy pickup truck head-on at around 1:15 a.m.
Rescue crews pronounced the Corolla driver dead at the scene of the accident. They transported a passenger from the Corolla and the pickup truck’s driver to an area hospital.
Authorities have not released the name of the driver who died.
