NORTH CHARLESTON, SC – A driver died in a two-vehicle collision on Ashley Phosphate Rd Saturday, according to WCSC.
Edrick Lavar Harrison, 34, was driving a BMW sedan at a high rate of speed on westbound Ashley Phosphate Rd when he strayed into oncoming traffic and collided with a Honda at around 10:28 a.m.
First responders pronounced Harrison dead at the scene of the accident and transported the Honda driver to an area hospital in unknown condition.
The incident is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Dorchester County Coroner’s Office.
