DARLINGTON COUNTY, SC – A driver struck and killed a bicyclist on E McIver Rd near Palmetto Height Dr on Saturday, according to WMBF.
A person driving a Nissan pickup truck was heading east on McIver Rd when they hit the victim around 9:30 p.m.
Rescue crews transported the bicyclist to an area hospital, where they later died.
Officials have not released the bicyclist’s name.
