BERKELEY COUNTY, SC – A driver struck and killed a pedestrian on US 17A near Moncks Corner on July 7, according to WCSC.
The driver of a Toyota sedan was heading north on US 17A when they hit William Fennell, 49, as he was lying in the roadway.
Crews pronounced Fennell dead at the scene.
The incident is under investigation by the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
