ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC – According to Live 5 News, a driver fatally collided with a tree on Vance Rd near U.S. 15 Tuesday.
A pickup driver was heading east on Vance Rd when he strayed off the roadway and hit a tree at around 5:30 p.m. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
Officials have not released the name of the victim.
The incident is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
