MYRTLE BEACH, SC – A driver injured two people when he rear-ended a motorcycle at 8th Ave N and Ocean Blvd Saturday.
According to WMBF, Johnny Taylor Jr. was driving a black sedan when he struck the rear of a motorcyclist. The collision ejected the person operating the motorcycle from the bike and trapped the passenger underneath the car.
Bystanders and police officers worked together to lift the car to extricate the motorcyclist trapped under it.
First responders transported the victims to an area hospital. They are expected to be okay.
Officers charged Taylor with an open container and following too closely.
