COLLETON COUNTY, SC – One person died and another person was injured in a single-vehicle collision on I-95 near Walterboro Sunday, according to WCSC.
A GMC pickup truck driver was on southbound I-95 when they strayed off the road and plowed into a tree around 3 p.m.
Rescue crews pronounced the truck’s passenger dead at the scene and transported the driver to an area hospital.
Officials have not provided the name of the deceased.
