COLLETON COUNTY, SC – A hit-and-run driver fatally collided with a pedestrian at Industrial Rd and Lakeshore Dr Saturday, according to Live 5 News.
The driver of a 2008-2012 Honda Accord hit the victim around 1:30 a.m. It is unclear if the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident or at an area hospital.
Officials have not released the name of the victim.
Authorities urge anyone with information concerning the incident to contact the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
