GOOSE CREEK, SC – A hit-and-run driver fatally collided with a bicyclist on Crowfield Blvd across from Stratford High School on Wednesday, according to WCSC.
A driver hit Wyatt Dobbs, 43, around 11 p.m. A driver who witnessed the collision attempted to warn oncoming drivers by flashing their lights, but a driver did not see the lights and struck Dobbs.
Rescue crews pronounced Dobbs dead at the scene of the accident.
The incident is under investigation by the Goose Creek Police Department and the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office.
