AWENDAW, SC – According to WPDE, a hit-and-run driver collided with and injured a bicyclist at Hwy 17 and Bee Hive Rd on September 8.
The driver hit the bicyclist around 5:40 p.m. before fleeing the scene of the accident.
Rescue crews transported the bicyclist to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident is under investigation.
