HORRY COUNTY, SC – According to WMBF, a hit-and-run driver fatally collided with a pedestrian on US 501 near Jason Blvd on Friday.
The driver was heading north on US 501 when they hit the victim around 11:55 p.m. before fleeing the scene.
Officials have not released the pedestrian’s name.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
