CHARLESTON, SC – A pedestrian was killed when they were struck by a vehicle in Charleston on Wednesday night, WCSC reports.
The incident happened on Sam Rittenberg Boulevard near the intersection with Downing Street around 10:30pm Wednesday, November 24.
The victim was identified as Raul Perez, 63. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The Charleston Police’s Traffic Division is investigating the incident and searching for the vehicle that fled the scene.
