FOLLY BEACH, SC – According to WOLO, the husband of a woman allegedly killed by a suspected impaired driver on the 1200 block of E Ashley Ave on April 28 is suing the driver.
Jamie Komoroski, 25, was driving about 65 mph when she slammed into the rear of the golf cart occupied by newlyweds Aric and Samantha Hutchinson, as well as two other people, around 10 p.m.
First responders pronounced Samantha Hutchinson dead at the scene and transported the three other people in the golf cart to an area hospital.
Authorities arrested Komoroski and charged her with one count of reckless homicide and three counts of DUI causing serious bodily injury or death.
Hutchinson has filed a wrongful death suit and an injury lawsuit against Komoroski and the establishments that served her.
