COLUMBIA, SC – The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision that at Broad River Rd and Lake Murray Blvd on Sunday.
According to WLTX, the driver of a Jaguar was fleeing from police on eastbound Broad River Rd when he slammed into a Lexus heading west on Broad River Rd near Lake Murray Blvd at around 10 p.m.
The driver of the Lexus died at the scene. They were not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision. First responders transported the driver of the Jaguar to an area hospital in unknown condition.
