SPARTANBURG, SC – A driver was sentenced to nearly 20 years of jail time in relation to a fatal collision on I-85 on Nov 15, 2020.

According to The Sun News, John Chance Fuller, 37, was driving at speeds in excess of 100 mph when he rear-ended two vehicles. The collision sent the two vehicles into the cars in front of them. Paul D. Swick, 45, was in one of the cars involved in the collision. Swick died in the wreck.

A search warrant showed that Fuller had methamphetamine and klonopin in his system at the time of the accident.

Fuller has pleaded guilty to felony driving under the influence involving death.
