CHARLESTON, SC – According to WCIV, a motorcyclist died in a crash on SC 61 near Wesley Dr Sunday.
Laura Chapek, 29, was riding a motorcycle on SC 61 when she drove off the overpass and landed on the road below around 6:44 p.m.
Nurses on their way to work rendered aided Chapek until paramedics arrived at the scene. Rescue crews transported Chapek to an area hospital, where she died at 7:30 p.m.
