RAVENEL, SC – A motorcyclist lost his life in a two-vehicle collision on the 6100 block of Savannah Hwy Wednesday, according to WCSC.
Mark Utley, 25, was going north on Savannah Hwy and using the median to pass vehicles when he struck a southbound Ford pickup truck head-on around 4:34 p.m.
Rescue crews transported Utley to an area hospital, where he died. He was wearing a helmet during the collision.
The incident is under investigation by the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office.
