MYRTLE BEACH, SC – According to WOLO, troopers are asking the public for help in identifying the hit-and-run driver who fatally collided with a pedestrian on Hwy 17 near Cove Dr on May 27.
The driver of a dark-colored SUV struck the victim around 10:22 p.m. The vehicle would probably have damage to its front end and hood following the collision.
Rescue crews pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Anyone with information concerning the incident should contact the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
