JOHNS ISlAND, SC – Officials have identified the victim of a deadly two-vehicle crash involving a dump truck on River Rd near Murraywood Rd Friday.
According to WCSC, the dump truck driver collided with a Ford F-150 driver head-on at around 12:50 p.m.
Both drivers were mildly injured in the collision. First responders pronounced a 14-year-old girl that was sitting in the front passenger seat of the Ford dead at the scene of the accident.
The incident is under investigation by the Major Accident Investigation Team of the Charleston Police Department.
