DILLON COUNTY, SC – According to WMBF, officials have released the names of the two people who died in a single-vehicle collision near US 301 and Kentyre Road on May 5.
A Nissan Pathfinder driver was heading north on US 501 when they strayed off the road and overcorrected before crashing into an embankment.
Rescue crews transported the two occupants of the Pathfinder, Alvin Brown, 35, and his wife, Sharesse Brown, 28, to an area hospital, where they died.
It is unclear who was driving at the time of the crash.
